ABOUT THE LABORATORY

This lab provides students with expertise in basic circuit design, measurement, and assembly

Equipment Usability

  • DC Power SupplyDC power supplies are power supplies which produce an output DC voltage. Power supplies are devices that deliver electric power to one or several loads. They generate the output power by converting an input signal into an output signal (in this case, a DC output)
  • Digital Storage OscilloscopeA digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) is an oscilloscope which stores and analyses the input signal digitally rather than using analog techniques. It is now the most common type of oscilloscope in use because of the advanced trigger, storage, display and measurement features which it typically provides.
  • Function GeneratorA function generator is usually a piece of electronic test equipment or software used to generate different types of electrical waveforms over a wide range of frequencies. Some of the most common waveforms produced by the function generator are the sine wave , square wave, triangular wave and sawtooth shapes.
  • Logic ProbeA logic probe is a low-cost hand-held test probe used for analyzing and troubleshooting the logical states (boolean 0 or 1) of a digital circuit. When many signals need to be observed or recorded simultaneously, a logic analyzer is used instead.
  • Digital MultimeterA digital multimeter is a test tool used to measure two or more electrical values—principally voltage (volts), current (amps) and resistance (ohms).
  • Analog MultimeterAnalog multimeters are instruments that are used to measure electrical quantities such as voltage, current, resistance, frequency and signal power. the analog multimeter comprises of a scale and a deflection pointer which actually indicates the value to be measured on the scale, while, in digital multimeters, a digital display like LCD directly displays the value.
  • Linear Circuit LabLinear Circuit Lab is a comprehensive and self-contained system suitable for anyone engaged in electronic circuit experiments. All necessary equipments for electronic circuit experiments such as power supply, function generator, analog and digital meters are installed on the main unit. The 17 modules covers a wide variety of essential topics in the field of electronics circuit. It is a time and cost saving device for both students and researchers interested in developing and testing circuit prototypes.
  • Rokit SmartRokit Smart is the original programmable robot kit. Rokit Smart is perfect for those who want to start learning code. Build 11 different robots from a single kit. Rubber band shooters, line-trackers, sumo wrestlers, etc.
  • DroneDrone is a flying robot that can be remotely controlled or fly autonomously through software-controlled flight plans in their embedded systems, working in conjunction with onboard sensors and GPS.
  • SenzeBandSenzeBand is Neeuro's non-invasive EEG headband that safely measures brain signals. It is a unique portable device that enables users to monitor brain activity.
