Dhientia Andani, Ph.D. is a faculty member of Product Design Engineering study programme at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, Indonesia. Dr. Andani received her Phd in philosophy from Kanazawa University as well as a Bachelor of Design degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung. Her areas of expertise lie in the areas of design, sustainability, humanities, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Andani’s latest research explored the application of social entrepreneurship in the Indonesian creative community. Her study also presented cases where designers took roles in leveraging community welfare through design practices. Dr. Andani has now shifted her focus to the exploration of new topics. She is currently researching the relationship between the integration of product and interaction design as well as its application in technological science.
