Prof. Dr. Andreas Bund, Head of the Electrochemistry and Electroplating Group at Technische Universität Ilmenau, has been appointed Adjunct Professor at the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. Prof. Bund completed his doctoral Degree at the University of Saarland as Doctor Rerum Naturalium (Dr.rer.nat).

His research areas include electrochemical storage and conversion of energy, electroplating, ionic liquids, numerical simulation, and magnetohydrodynamics. He has received several prestigious awards, such as the Dr.-Eduard-Martin Award of the Friends and Promoters of the University of Saarland, the Heinz-Leuze Award, and Dr. Honoris Causa of the University Dunarea de Jos din Galati (Romania). He is a member holding an executive position within several reputable bodies, including The Electrochemical Society among others.
