Dr. Eng. Bayu Prabowo is a researcher and faculty member in the department of Renewable Energy Engineering, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, Indonesia. His scientific work and teaching subject is primarily in the field of energy and environment with the strong emphasis on thermochemical conversion of biomass to energy, CO2 utilization, carbon negative power generation, and waste management. To date, Dr. Bayu published 1 book chapter (published by the American Social Society), 10 international journal papers, and 5 peer-reviewed conference papers. He is currently also serves as a reviewer for the journals of Applied Energy, Fuel, Biofuels, and Energy & Environment Research. Dr. Bayu is mastering English as his main foreign language at the fluent level and Japanese as the second foreign language at the fair level. Outside of his academician work, Dr. Bayu also has strong organization skill as he recorded  as an active member of Indonesian Student Association in Tokyo Institute of Technology until he became the chairman in 2010-2011. He also worked for the government of Indonesia by becoming the Chief of the Indonesian Overseas Election Organizer in Tokyo at the Indonesian Legislative Election - April 2014.
