Maria Zefanya Sampe, S.Si., M.Si., M.M is a faculty member of Business Mathematics, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya.  She pursued her Master in Actuarial Science in Institut Teknologi Bandung and Master in Management in Parahyangan Catholic University. She took several short courses between READI project and Waterloo university, to develop his expertise in data science and actuarial science. She also gets a research grant from READI Project with the title “Pure Premium Calculation for Crop Insurance Using Predictive Modeling". She focuses on the research of application in mathematics such as actuarial science, statistics, optimization, risk management, data science, and financial mathematics. She is familiar with some computer languages and mathematics software (Minitab, VBA, R, Python, SPSS, Eviews, and Matlab). She expects to share her experience and knowledge to inspire the students to learn the application of mathematics such as actuarial science and data science.
